Fortalis was founded on a simple conviction: physical discipline and Christian faith are not separate pursuits. They are expressions of the same thing — stewardship.
The name Fortalis is derived from the Latin root for strength and fortitude. It reflects what this brand is built around — not the pursuit of appearance, but the pursuit of readiness. Readiness to serve, to protect, to endure, and to show up when it counts.
Our Philosophy
Fortalis is founded on the belief that every individual is created with purpose and entrusted with unique gifts, responsibilities, and opportunities by God. Life is not a pursuit of comfort or self-expression, it is a calling to faithful stewardship of everything entrusted to us.
Our faith informs everything we do. True identity is not found in achievement, appearance, or status, but in relationship with God. From that foundation comes the responsibility to pursue excellence in every area of life, including the discipline of the body.
Scripture is clear that the body is a temple, not a monument to vanity, but a vessel set apart for purpose. How you train, and why you train, matters. We are not building a brand for people who train to be seen. We are building one for people who train because they understand that physical readiness is part of being fully available to God.
Strength, in our view, extends beyond the physical. It includes moral conviction, spiritual maturity, personal integrity, and the ability to remain steadfast in the face of challenge. It is demonstrated through service to others, commitment to family, dedication to one's vocation, and faithfulness to God's calling.
Fortalis exists to encourage this pursuit. Our products are intended to serve as reminders of the principles that build lasting character: faith, discipline, responsibility, perseverance, and purpose.
We do not believe the goal of life is perfection. Rather, it is continual growth toward the person God created each of us to become. Through faith, disciplined action, and unwavering commitment to our responsibilities, we seek to honor God and faithfully steward the opportunities He has placed before us.
Who We Give To
Fortalis donates 5% of monthly revenue to support persecuted Christians around the world. We publish where that money goes annually so our customers know exactly what their purchase is contributing to.
Currently, we direct those funds to Open Doors, a ministry that has worked in 70+ countries for over 70 years strengthening Christians who face persecution and discrimination for their faith. We chose Open Doors because their mission reflects the same values we build this brand around: endurance under hardship, faithfulness under pressure, and the conviction that following Christ is worth the cost.
We believe a brand with Christian convictions should put those convictions into action. This is ours.
